Cana-duh!

Hey everyone!! We just got back from Canada last week. We had so much fun. It is definitely one of our favorite places to go. Everything is SO green there. Jesse and I both agreed that we wouldn't mind living there, except for the fact that it is Canada! Hope that everyone is having a great summer! Love you all!! xoxoxo

Thank you everyone for coming to Sophie's blessing. You make-up a wonderful, very supportive, and amazing family. We love you all.

We are excited to move into a new home, especially one with a larger kitchen. Our kitchen dining area today is maybe 6' x 6' and with number 5 on the way there is no way we would be able to sit down together. The selling and buying process has gone very quickly. We listed our house two Mondays ago and it was under contract two days later on Wednesday. The equity we will earn will allow us to upgrade to a newer home! We've looked all over, from Farmington to Farr West and all the cities in between. We liked several homes in Syracuse but like the feeling we got from the Remuda community in Farr West. The down side is that Farr West is "Farr" North. The upside is it is close to Willard Bay and very quite with many families like ours. There is; however, a motorcycle track just North of Remuda and people say on race weekends it gets loud. Because of the noise they put up a large burm of dirt to help cut down on the noise. The good thing is not every weekend is a race weekend, I'm told around 5 weekends a year are race weekends. The house is bank owned and they have accepted our offer; so, we are under contract. We are excited to move in and hope everything is in working order. We expect to close around the end of July.

Luke's Birthday

Hey all!

We had another great pirate birthday party at our house on Wednesday. We had about 11 kids altogether, so it was quite a wild and crazy time. I think they all had fun though. We read a pirate story, played pin the pirate flag on the treasure map, tried to scoop pretzles out of a bowl with pirate 'hooks' (made out of paper cups and candy canes), walked the plank, and had pirate cake (Luke doesn't like ice-cream, so we skipped that part). I think Luke's favorite gift was a haunted house for cars that I found him-he LOVES skeletons and stuff like that. The weather was perfect for having a party in the backyard.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSE!!

For Jesse's B-Day (29th, last year in his twenties, can you believe it) we went down to Zion's. We had so much fun! The weather was great for hiking. We conquered Angels Landing, which is one of my favorite hikes and of course I made sure I took lots of pictures. Jesse, your birthday was great, can't wait to see what next year brings. (: Hope you had a great B-Day!!!!

Hey everybody, as you all know I am taking a photography class this semester. I thought that I would just post some of the pictures I have taken. I just had to share a few things about Sophie. The other day I felt her gums and it seemed like they were a bit swollen on the bottom like she might be startging to get teeth in. 'Great' I thought...here we go with the grumpy teething phase. The next morning I felt her gums again, and her teeth were already in...TWO of them! She didn't fuss, she didn't wake up all night, etc, etc, etc! She is an angel!!!!!!! The other thing I wanted to share is about her eyes. They are such a unique color. The other kids we have figured out who's eyes they have (Cassie & Luke have Grandma Sally's eyes, Eliza has Jake's). But Sophie's are different. They aren't quite green or hazel..they are kind of a grayis-hazelish-greenish-darkish. I can't even describe the color right. Well, when we went down to visit Grandma and Grandpa Harrison, Grandpa told us that his mother's eyes were exactly that same color. So, now we know where Sophie gets her eyes from! Her Great-Great-Grandma Olive. So there you have it...my musings of the evening...Hope all is well with everyone...all I have left to say is GET POSTING!!! :-)

Christmas Greetings

Hi everyone! Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful holiday season. Hopefully I will get some of these cards printed out, but just in case, here is our Christmas card this year. This photo was taken at Dave & Steph's wedding. CONGRATS to you both by the way! We are so happy for you! TEXAS!

Well I've been meaning to post these for a while. Our trip to Texas was great, we went to the Texas Rangers Stadium, and got to see the new Dallas Cowboys stadium they are building. Of course Grandpa took us all over town!

Jesse had a great time picking up pecans from the back yard. We brought home a whole bag full!

This was the hotel that we stayed at while Jesse was at his conference. It was awesome. This shot was taken from our balcony. We had so much fun. Jesse enjoyed it more than he thought he would and I know we will plan to go back soon. Love everybody! Hope ya'all are doing great! (:
